Synergy is free to attend. We meet all year round on Tuesday afternoons between 12:30 and 4:30pm. Synergy may be closed near some public holidays. Look for a notification on our Facebook page. Here’s a rough timetable but it can vary.
12:30 – 2:00: Conversation, board games, art projects. You can sit and read, use your laptop (we have internet access), or engage in other activities. Synergy is what you make it!
2:00 – 3:00: Lunch or continue with your chosen activities.
3:00 – 4:30: Music making. We have djembe and other hand-played drums (no experience required), and you are welcome to try them or bring your own musical instruments and join in.
You can drop in and leave at any time. Normally, a volunteer prepares a freshly made vegetarian meal, which can be booked the day before. The meal costs £4 to cover expenses, or you can bring your own food and eat with us. Tea and coffee are 30p.
Service dogs and other friendly, well-behaved dogs are welcome. There is an accessible toilet, and the main hall is accessible, though it’s best to discuss car parking ahead of arrival.
